Pleasures Exotic

I have got a fragrance by Estee Lauder called Pleasures Exsotic (2004) from my new boss as a travel gift (Now I am sure my new boss is a great guy!) He visited Malaysia for a business trip. All of my colleagues here got one bottle for each. We had ten bottles to choose. They were Bvlgari's and Estee Lauder's. We only had a chance to sniff at them from the bottle.
Well, my choice, without tasting on me, did not turn out to be really good. Pleasures Exsotic smelled at first fruity, juicy and contemporary but later just ordinary sheer floral. And it smelled a little cheap, reminding me of an eight-year-old girl. Sorry. I wonder what it would it be like on other people.
Bvlgari has been a very popular statusy brand in Japan such as Bvlgari Pour Homme to name one of its fragrances, while the fragrance line of Estee Lauder is not. Estee Lauder, however, has won the notable FiFi Awards by the Fragrance Foundation several times--as recently as in Beyond Paradise (2004), White Linen (2002), Beautiful (2001) and Pleasures (1996)--since its first bottle was created in 1953. Lauder is also a traditional fragrance house.
