It`s a town for artists. It must be pretty commercial, but I liked it to see and feel all the shops along the street. It really makes you dance! New Age shop called Genesis and boutique named Eve was nice.

ODC is the biggest contemporary dance studio in SF. They have their own theater as well. Contemporary class by Natalie was fun.

As the first hostel in the downtown was like living in the middle of a busy street, I have moved to this hostel in Fisherman's Wharf. You can see the bay from the room and it's fantastic. It's quieter, more serene here.
